About Reps a Day

Reps a Day is a small site about one idea: doing a set number of reps every day, and keeping count. Push-ups, squats, pull-ups, planks, a stretching routine — the exercise matters less than the daily number and the unbroken streak.

The guides here are written to be used, not skimmed: real day-by-day tables for the 30-day challenges, honest numbers for "how many a day", and progressions for when you're stuck at zero pull-ups. Everything is bodyweight, needs no gym, and takes ten minutes.

Who writes it

Steve. I do my reps first thing in the morning and I built RepTrend, a one-tap rep counter for iPhone and Apple Watch, because I kept losing the paper. You'll see it recommended in the tracking sections — it's my app, so treat that as the disclosure it is. A notebook works too, and several articles say so.

Not medical advice

I'm not a doctor or physio. The numbers here are sensible starting points for healthy adults, not prescriptions. If something hurts (sharp pain, not effort), stop and get it looked at.
